Day 6 Doolin
It was raining heavily all morning so we didn't go out until lunchtime.
We went to Doolin Pier and watched the ferries to the Aran Islands coming and going in the very choppy seas. We also walked across the rocks but it was so windy it was difficult to keep upright. Next to the pier there were hot tubs with seaweed water which many people were enjoying.

We drove around the area and stopped at Lisdoonvarna, a little town/village about 5 miles away. We bought a few things from the supermarket and looked around the town before going back to prepare dinner.

Vicky and Gary arrived at about 5.30. After dinner we took them down to Gus O'Connors pub where we had a drink and a dessert.
